Image Editing & Retouching from Berlin

For over 20 years we have prepared image data print-ready – as an extended workbench for design agencies as well as directly for companies. From final artwork for demanding brands we know the standards for clean cut-outs, precise retouching and reproducible colours.

A particular focus is image editing for large format: in one client project we prepared a motif for an area of 33 × 6 metres – almost 200 square metres in which resolution, panel layout and colour consistency have to match exactly.

Large-format image editing: up to 33 × 6 metres

Large formats follow their own rules. An advertising banner of 33 × 6 metres is not calculated at the same resolution as a magazine motif – the viewing distance is decisive. We set up files so they appear razor-sharp on the finished surface without generating unnecessarily huge amounts of data.

In doing so we pay attention to the division into individual printing panels, to clean transitions at the seams and to a consistently uniform colour across all sections. Where necessary, we upscale motifs, reconstruct image details and retouch flaws so that nothing frays even up close.

This is how banners, construction-fence tarpaulins, exhibition walls and façade motifs are created that are just as convincing from a great distance as from close up.

Our studio is based in Berlin, the work is done digitally. Image data reaches us via cloud, server or transfer link – and goes back the same way. For agencies and companies throughout Germany and beyond, location therefore plays no role.

From years of final artwork for major brands we bring an eye for detail: correct bleed, suitable colour spaces, embedded profiles and data that runs smoothly through printing. On request we work in the background as a white-label partner for your agency.
