We develop our own software products – not just individual applications for a single purpose, but systems that run permanently, manage users, and are updated and extended. From the architecture through the code to operation on our own servers, everything stays in one place.

We do not have to claim that this works: three of our products are publicly available and in everyday use – Taktos for project and task management, SpamProtec as real-time spam protection for mailboxes, and SchlüsselBot for sending confidential data securely. We built all three ourselves and run them every day.

The difference between a project and a product

A commissioned application solves one particular task and is then finished – that is what our “Programming” service is for. A product is something else: it has many users with different permissions, it has to tolerate mistakes, it gains new features without operations coming to a halt, and someone has to answer for it when something goes wrong at night.

It is precisely this difference that determines the architecture. From the outset we plan for tenant separation, a permission model, versioning and recoverability – even when only a handful of people start out using it. Whatever comes later can then be added instead of rebuilt from scratch.

We run what we build

Software needs more than writing: setting up servers, applying updates, checking backups, spotting faults before users report them. We take care of both – development and operation – on our own servers in Germany.

The practical advantage: whoever built it finds the cause faster. There is no handover between two companies passing responsibility back and forth. Data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR on request.

Built modular: your requirement as its own module

Our platforms are built modular. Features are enabled per company – with Taktos, for instance, a site diary for construction projects or scheduling for deployment planning. Where a business needs something that does not exist yet, we build it as a dedicated module instead of forcing the workflow into a rigid standard product.

The same principle applies to your software: a solid core that grows. You do not pay for features you will never need – and you will not hit a limit later that cannot be moved.

We do not build software that nobody touches again after sign-off. We build software that keeps living.
