Werner Messinger is a graphic designer (Dipl.) and co-founder of MessingerDesign. He studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and spent five years as a technical writer for graphics software at H. Berthold AG.

For ten years he worked as a logo expert at MetaDesign – one of the most renowned branding agencies. In 1999 he created Volkswagen's complete wordmark system there.

Since 2003 he has run MessingerDesign with a focus on corporate design, logo artwork and office templates.
